Hello, My name is Kim. I just came across your blog and I have to say that little Elsie is an adorable little girl. I couldn't help but read all of your posts and really enjoyed them. I am a Mom myself to three great kids, an 11 year old girl, a 7 year old girl, and my son is 14 months old. Reading all about young Elsie is bringing back great memories, recent ones and not quite so recent ones. :) I am sorry to hear about Elsie's eczema, my son has it a bit too. He is also breastfed, and I notice that his eczema flares up when I have eaten more dairy then normal or when he eats dairy. I have talked to a lactation consultant about the possible link between his eczema and dairy products, and she thinks that is what his eczema is from. So I am going to eliminate dairy from his diet and see if that helps. When he was younger he had a problem with the dairy in my diet and I actually had to cut all dairy out of my diet for about 9 months. It really helped too, he used to fuss and spit up a LOT, but when I went dairy free he was a lot happier and rarely spit up. Wow I just wrote a book! Sorry! Anyway congratulations, she is a cutie!
Kim
